Waverton hires fixed income veteran to bolster team

Waverton Investment Management has boosted its fixed income team with a senior appointment.

Robert Healey, previously a director at Daiwa Capital Markets, will work on private client and charity fixed income portfolios.

He will also work alongside Jeff Keen on the firm’s Global Strategic Bond fund and Sterling Bond fund.

With more than 28 years of experience in bond markets, Healey was head of euro fixed income corporate trading at Lloyds Bank International and has held senior roles at Rabobank and Standard Chartered.

Keen said: 'We are very pleased to welcome Robert to the fixed income desk. His 28 years’ experience will be invaluable in the current markets.

'In addition to his work on specialist portfolios and the bond funds, he will assist across all portfolios and in broader client work.  He brings a wealth of product, regulatory and investment knowledge to the team.'
