Julius Baer has hired three relationship managers as it continues an aggressive regional expansion plan.
The recruits include Colin Aitken, who joins from UBS Wealth Management, where he co-founded and headed the firm's Scottish office for nine years during a 17-year career with the bank.
Aitken, who will be based in Julius Baer's Edinburgh office, previously worked for Merrill Lynch International Bank, Adam and Company and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Mark Dooner joins the private bank's Manchester branch from Tilney, where served as both an adviser and investment manager.
Prior to this, he held senior roles at PwC Investment Advisory and Barclays Wealth & Investment Management.
East Anglia-based Laurence Patmore completes the trio. He joins from Barclays Wealth and will be tasked with growing Julius Baer's network across the region and support clients in the Cambridge area.
Julius Baer head of UK regional offices Calum Brewster said: 'Our new appointments demonstrate our commitment to hiring exceptional individuals, and we are delighted to welcome them to the team as we continue to grow our presence across the regions.'
The latest appointments come after Julius Baer hired a raft of Barclays Wealth investment managers last year to spearhead its push across the UK.
It also shows that Julius Baer remains committed to the UK after it said it would be cutting 100 jobs across the organisation as part of an extensive cost-cutting exercise.
'Last year, we made considerable strides in expanding our presence across the regions, and these new hires continue to demonstrate our long-term commitment to the market as we identify and pursue tactical growth opportunities across the UK.'
