Owl Private Office, the wealth advisory firm set up by Lord North Street alumni, has hired a UBS Wealth Management and C Hoare veteran as a partner.
Aisling McArdle (pictured) was latterly the CEO of a single family office and was also previously the director of investments for a Forbes 500 single family office in New York.
In an international career, she has also worked at UBS in both New York and London, and prior to that she had a spell at KPMG, where she was based in Dublin and then in Amsterdam.
At Owl, she will be reunited with Annamaria Koerling, who was previously head of wealth management at C Hoare & Co. She joined as a managing partner last November.
McArdle said: ‘The key attraction of joining Owl Private Office is its unique role in helping families and endowments get the best from the investment world with no strings attached.
‘While Owl works closely with professional advisers and external managers, we are always on the same side of the table as the client. It is a pleasure for me to be able to work with a team who have such extensive experience in the wealth management space.’
Koerling added: ‘Aisling brings to us an extra dimension of experience spanning not only asset allocation and portfolio management, but also legal and tax expertise, complemented by all-encompassing structuring skills that come with having held senior positions in several single family offices.
‘Aisling’s command of seven languages is an additional plus with our growing international client base of families and endowments.’
Owl was established in March 2017 by Lord North Street co-founders Adam Wethered and William Drake, alongside former JM Finn director Andrew Wimble.
