It is fair to say we have been busy!

A whirlwind trip to the South West saw us hot-foot it to Bristol and back in a day. We managed to pack a lot in, given the rich pickings of DFMs in the city. We caught up with Quilter Cheviot, Brewin Dolphin, WH Ireland, LGT Vestra, Alpha Portfolio Management and Tilney.

Last week, Eleanor and Suzie headed to Manchester where ‘the Northern Powerhouse’ slogan has lost some power without George Osbourne behind it. However development in the city is still happening at a rate of knots as we saw in the uber-modern Spinningfields area where we dined with Investec W&I head, Richard Greenhalgh (Pub Club coming soon). We also saw Arbuthnot Latham, Quilter Cheviot, WH Ireland, Artorius Wealth, Equilibrium and talked all things ethical with Castlefield Investment Partners.

Finally, Suzie nipped to Tunbridge Wells – sorry, Royal Tunbridge Wells – to see Brooks Macdonald and Wellian Investment Solutions just in time before the Wealth Manager Retreat on 12-13 October.

Here's Eleanor arrving at Manchester Picaddilly station. Get in touch if you'd like us to stop by your office on our travels!
