Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers has made yet another acquisition, purchasing the advisory arm of accountancy business Saint & Co.

Based in Carlisle, Saint & Co will add £100 million in assets under advice, taking the division to a total of over £2 billion in assets.

Partner and adviser at Saint & Co Philip Dhillon and adviser Trevor Iredale - alongside support staff - will join the company’s Cumbria office.

Dominic Rose (pictured), director at Old Mutual WPCA said: ‘Saint & Co is a natural fit with Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers and comes with a reputation for a professional and personalised service, which we look forward to continuing and building on.

‘Philip and Trevor bring high-quality expertise along with an experienced support team. We’re excited to welcome them all to the team.’

Ian Thompson, partner at Saint & Co, added: ‘Not only does the business share virtually the same location as Old Mutual WPCA, it truly reflects and shares the values that we believe are core to our offering. It is therefore fantastic that our clients will continue to enjoy an industry leading service going forward.’

Old Mutual Wealth has been on an acquisition spree for its advice business over the last year. The latest was back in May when it bought Scottish IFA DG Pryde, adding £200 million of assets to the firm.
