What is your typical client demographic?

Successful entrepreneurs, business owners or professionals.

What differentiates your region?

Scotland has produced many of the world’s greatest innovations, inventions and inspirational people – like Alexander Graham Bell’s first practical telephone and John Logie Baird’s television. Today, Scotland still aims to become the most entrepreneurial society in the world.

What challenges are facing your area?

Differential tax rates from the rest of the UK are an obstacle, but the economic challenges that lie ahead are enormous for Scotland.

What’s the best thing about living in your area?

The warmth, humour and humility of the people.

What’s a typical regional saying?

‘Mony a mickle maks a muckle’.

Are you bullish or bearish?

With synchronised global growth and earnings growth, we are still bullish for equities, but believe it is ‘best to dance near the door’.
