Private Banking and Asset Management search business Suffolk Lane Search has launched into the recruitment space with the aim of seeking out individuals with ‘pixie dust’ qualities.
The boutique search business focuses on the recruitment of client-facing roles for private banks and wealth management firms.
Henry Hume, a consultant at Suffolk Lane, said the firm differed from its competitors because it only takes on one retained mandate in any particular specialism at any given time to avoid conflicts of interest.
Mark Wheatley, a directors at Suffolk Lane, explained: 'We believe that successful recruitment depends on mastering the ‘less tangible’ aspects of a client-brief, the ‘pixie dust’ qualities.
'To achieve this we will emulate the eponymous Hollywood character Jerry Maguire and focus on a few key clients rather than a mass of relationships. That is our aim.'
