Kleinwort Hambros has promoted Matt Falla as head of private banking in its Guernsey office and deputy head of private banking across its Channel Islands business.
Based in Guernsey, Falla will be tasked with building the business strategy to provide banking and investment services to domestic, international clients and financial intermediaries.
Falla joined what was then SGPB Hambros in December 2005 as a senior private banker from HSBC International Fund Distribution, where he was a regional manager for its Middle East & African intermediary based clients.
In 2011, Matt was appointed head of the financial intermediaries team in Jersey, progressing over the next few years to be promoted to group head in 2015.
