JP Morgan Private Bank has named a new global head of manager selection as well as new heads of equity and fixed income research.
This was revealed to Wealth Manager's sister site Citywire USA.
The appointments follow the departure of former global head of manager selection Kristof Gleich and head of fixed income research David Saab, who both left JPM in September.
According to a source familiar with the situation, Michael Gubenko, a managing director who was primarily covering alternative investments, has now taken over Gleich’s old role as global head of manager selection.
Elizabeth Eldridge, who was head of international equity fund selection for the US manager selection team, is now the global head of equity manager selection.
Meanwhile Steven Bower, who was previously the head of equity manager selection, has taken over Saab’s previous role as the global head of fixed income manager selection.
In addition James Walker, global head of investments at JP Morgan private bank, is retiring, according to an internal memo that has been circulated around JPM employees.
