Marcus Holden-Craufurd has joined JM Finn as an investment director, while the firm's head of investment management, Sarah Soar, has left the business.
Holden-Craufurd joins later this year after a 13-year stint at Rathbones. Before that he worked at Dexia and Ely Fund Managers.
Soar departs the wealth firm, which has £9.2 billion in funds under management, after five years of service. She joined the business at the start of 2014 after a spell at Brewin Dolphin, where she was director.
At JM Finn, Soar had completed a number of Mifid II related tasks, as well as a fee review, and the centralisation of the firm’s client reports.
Her departure comes after the firm lost its senior investment manager, David Roblin, to Raymond James in February.
Steven Sussman (pictured), JM Finn’s chief executive officer, commented: “We look forward to welcoming Marcus to the firm and are extremely pleased he has chosen JM Finn as a suitable firm from which he can continue to provide a top quality service to clients.
‘We also thank Sarah for her contribution to JM Finn’s success over the last five years and wish her well for the future.’
