Fortem Capital has appointed Toby Hayes as its new head of multi-asset management.
The company's latest appointee (pictured) brings 18 years' worth of financial industry experience to the new role.
Hayes was previously a multi-asset manager at Franklin Templeton, where he ran a number of alternative and multi-asset funds, including the UK-distributed Franklin Global Multi-Asset Income fund.

Hayes previously worked at Pacific Investments, where he was was a partner. He was also a founding partner at multi-asset boutique Armstrong Investment Managers, where he oversaw global multi-asset portfolios.
Fortem Capital's new head of multi-asset management also held numerous multi-asset roles at UBS Wealth Management. He also managed Insight's Diversified Target Return fund.
Earlier this month, Sonal Desai was handed a series of fund roles in preparation for her appointment as Franklin Templeton's bond division CIO.
