Fidelity expands UK real estate team

Fidelity International has appointed Ewan Montgomery to the role of portfolio manager as part of an effort to expand its European and UK real estate teams.

In his new role, Montgomery will be responsible for UK-wide investment and asset management in the team.

Montgomery joins from Cording Real Estate Group, where he was director of investment for UK commercial property.

Including his time at Cording Real Estate Group, Montgomery has over 20 years’ experience in the real estate arena having worked for CBRE Group and Aberdeen Asset Management.

‘With such strong client demand and steadily growing portfolios, we are looking to grow our team of experienced real estate professionals across Europe,’ said Neil Cable, head of real estate at Fidelity International.

The asset manager has launched a recruitment drive in order to grow the business across both Europe and UK.

Cable added: ‘We’re delighted to have already secured Ewan Montgomery in the UK who has many years of experience and will be an excellent addition to Fidelity’s team.’
