Brewin Dolphin names new Bristol office head

Brewin Dolphin has promoted Tom Miller to head of its Bristol office.

As the new head of the office, Miller will be tasked with leading the firm’s growth and development in the South West.

Miller will be supported by Alex Barrell, who has stepped down from the head of office role, and the 20 strong team in Bristol.

Miller has been with the wealth manager since 2012 and has over 11 years’ experience in financial services.

‘Peoples’ financial lives have become more complex, increasing the need for trusted, expert advisers to take the strain from those who need help with their finances,’ Miller said.

‘The pension freedoms have also reignited retirement savings questions and added complexity and confusion for many.

'I am therefore thrilled to be heading up the Bristol office as we already have an outstandingly professional and well established team who are well placed to help our clients deal with these current issues amongst the political and economic uncertainty.’
