Boutique wealth firm McCarthy Taylor has rehired Joe Goddard-Howe as a financial planner and discretionary fund manager.
Goddard-Howe joins the firm from Tilney where he has worked for the past two years, most recently as an investment manager.
Prior to that, he worked for PwC for two years including as a manager in its Birmingham office.
He began his is career in finance at McCarthy Taylor in 2013 as a trainee para planner before moving on to PwC.
Goddard-Howe is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a chartered financial planner and discretionary investment manager. He also has a masters in investment analysis.
The exit comes at a time when Tilney is investing heavily on recruitment.
Recent appointments include Matthew Tribe from Santander, Andy Brown from Sanlam and former Charles Stanley head of charities Nicholas Pearson.
