Creechurch Capital has welcomed back Miles Ashworth two months after it was acquired by Chancery Capital Holdings.
Ashworth (pictured) re-joins as head of private wealth after leaving the company in 2017 to work as a consultant.
He worked for Creechurch for six years, holding the role of senior portfolio manager upon his departure.
Outlining why he returned to the firm, Ashworth said: '[It] was a great opportunity to re-join a successful business I have a close affinity for having started my investment management career at Creechurch Capital.
'Following the recent acquisition, I have been impressed with the new management team and their plans for the future. My ambitions have a clear focus on producing high quality investment returns and delivering on our client objectives.
Chancery Capital Holdings is owned by the Nayyar family, which specialises in property management, land development, distressed assets and retail services.
The Nayyars are also shareholders of Brookfield Partners, which owns investment management firm Facet.
Jaya Nayyar, one of the family members who owns Chancery said: 'Creechurch is a good name in the discretionary fund management industry and an excellent fit for our business. We look forward to building its success further.
Jim Dolan joined Creechurch Capital as a director and will manage the firm's investment portfolios and strategy alongside Chris Hutton, who was appointed finance director and chairman.
Commenting on the appointment of Ashworth, Dolan said: 'We are delighted to welcome Miles back to Creechurch and also to recognise his undoubted ability with his new title.
'I believe it is testament to the vision of the Nayyar Group that someone of his calibre has chosen to return and I look forward to working with him as we evolve the investment strategy of the business.'
