Artemis has announced a fifth member of its new fixed income team, hiring Jack Holmes (pictured) from Kames Capital.
Holmes has been an investment manager on the Kames fixed income team since September 2016. Before that he was at Standard Life Investments as an analyst on the European high yield team. He will join Artemis on 26 June.
Artemis is also set to launch a new Ucits fund. The Short-Dated Global High Yield Bond fund will be managed by ex-Kames managers David Ennett and Stephen Baines, who both joined Artemis last year.
Artemis’ head of distribution, Jasper Berens, said: ‘We’re delighted to have attracted a manager of Jack’s ability and experience. This strengthens our new fixed income team even further.
‘New funds for the team, such as our imminent Short-Dated Global High Yield Bond fund, will complement our existing offerings in fixed income and meet our clients’ needs.’
