Andrew Hunt joined the UK Equity Team in June 2016 as Investment Director. Andrew joined Standard Life Investments from Baillie Gifford, where he worked for ten years as Investment Analyst and subsequently Investment Manager, with experience of global, UK and European equities, as well as credit. He has a decade of experience in the industry. Andrew is responsible for researching the Electronics & Electrical Equipment, Automobile & Parts, Food Retail, Mining and Non Life Insurance sectors. Andrew hold a BA (1st Class Honours) in Law from Girton College, University of Cambridge.

Objective

The fund aims to provide long term capital growth by investing in UK equities. The fund is primarily invested in the shares of ‘recovery’ large and medium sized companies listed on the UK stock market and is actively managed by our investment team who will select stocks to try to take advantage of the opportunities they have identified.
