Neil Birrell is chief investment officer for Premier Asset Management and is fund manager of the Premier Diversified fund. He joined Premier in 2013 from Elcot Capital, where he was part of the team responsible for managing multi strategy investments. Neil was previously chief investment officer of Framlington Investment Management and a senior fund manager at Prolific Asset Management.


The Fund aims to achieve long-term total returns comprised of capital growth and income. The Investment Adviser will assess the economic and macro environment along with the absolute and relative attractiveness of different asset classes. This analysis, combined with the view of the potential risk profile and relative risk-adjusted returns of asset classes will determine the current asset allocation of the Fund. Assets in the Fund will initially be classified into equities, fixed income, alternatives and property.
