Charles Biderman

Charles Biderman joined Comgest in 2006 and is a portfolio manager and analyst specialising in emerging market equities, particularly in the Latin America region. He has co-led the management of the firm’s Latin American equity strategy since the product’s inception in 2009. He also manages a number of global emerging market segregated mandates. Biderman completed a master’s degree in engineering at the Institut National des Télécommunications in France where he majored in finance.

Alexandre Narboni

Alexandre Narboni joined Comgest in 2009, initially within the firm’s US equity team before moving to the Global equity team in 2018 where he is today a Portfolio Manager and Analyst. Alexandre is also responsible for developing and supervising Comgest’s Flex strategies, the firm's first investment strategies to employ hedging techniques with the objective of reducing volatility and drawdowns. Before joining Comgest, Alexandre worked in New York, firstly in asset-backed securities at Société Générale from 2005 to 2007 and then as a hedge fund credit Analyst at HSBC. After graduating from the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (ENSAE) in Paris, he studied for one year at Columbia University in New York where he was awarded a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics.

Wojciech Stanislawski

Wojciech Stanislawski joined Comgest in 1999 as a member of Comgest’s Global Emerging Markets team and is today also a member of the Group’s Investment Executive and Management Committees. In 2000 he was named co-lead portfolio manager of Comgest’s flagship Global Emerging Markets fund and also co-leads a number of other strategies. In 2013 Stanislawski was named team manager of the firm’s Global Emerging Markets equity investment team, responsible for the management of the portfolio managers and analysts. He also maintains responsibility for a number of emerging market segregated mandates. Stanislawski graduated from the Panthéon-Assas University in Paris with a joint master’s degree in business and financial management.

Objective

The investment objective of the CGEM Flex Fund is to achieve capital appreciation by creating a professionally managed portfolio primarily consisting of what, in the opinion of the Investment Manager, are high quality long-term growth companies based or operating in Emerging Markets. The Investment Manager intends investing in shares or equity linked securities including preferred stock, convertible bonds and debentures which are convertible into equity securities, predominantly issued by companies based or operating in Emerging Markets and quoted or traded on Regulated Markets.
