David Cumming was born in the United Kingdom and earned his an MA (Hons) degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh. His career began in 1983 at Royal London Mutual as a UK investment analyst. In 1985 he moved to Edinburgh Fund Managers where he was a UK unit trust fund manager and after that he was a director at Morgan Greenfell Asset Management. David worked for Standard Life Investments holding the position of head of UK equities until 2017. He is an Associate of the Society of Investment Analysts.

Trevor Green

Growth investor Trevor Green's first fund management job was with Capel Cure Myers where he managed smaller company portfolios. In 1997 Green moved to Credit Suisse and was promoted to director of the group's UK equity team. He joined Allianz Dresdner in February 2002 where he had responsibility for the Allianz Dresdner UK Growth and the Allianz Dresdner UK Mid-Cap funds. Now at New Star, Trevor runs the New Star UK Growth fund. Born in Edinburgh in 1967, Green graduated in Business Studies from Aberdeen University.

Objective

The Sub-Fund invests mainly in the equities of UK companies. Specifically, at all times, the Sub-Fund invests at least twothirds of total net assets (excluding liquidities) in equities and equity-related securities of companies that have their registered office, or do most of their business, in the United Kingdom. Equity-related securities can include ADRs, GDRs, options on equities, exchange-traded warrants and convertible securities, participation certificates and profit sharing certificates, among others. The Sub-Fund does not buy equity warrants but may hold any it receives in connection with equities it owns.
