Edward Legget was born in Guildford in 1978. He attended the University of Cambridge where he gained an MEng in manufacturing engineering. He joined Artemis in December 2015 from Standard Life Investments, having joined the company in 2002. He was appointed fund manager in 2006. His investment process involves a bottom up stock picking approach. Edward has been managing funds for over ten years and is a CFA Charterholder. Outside of fund management he enjoys golf, tennis, sailing, walking and the cinema and theatre.

Objective

The objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth. The emphasis of the Fund will be investment in companies listed, quoted and/or traded in the UK and in companies which are headquartered or have a significant part of their activities in the UK which are quoted on a regulated market outside the UK.
