Arnaud du Plessis joined Amundi in November 2010 as senior portfolio manager, Gold Equities and then Global Resources Equities. Previously he was head of Cyclical Equities at Natixis Asset Management (2002-2010) where he was in charge of precious metals, basic materials and energy. Prior to that, Arnaud worked as European Equities Portfolio Manager with Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management (1998-2002), after being Head of Derivatives Trading (1989-1997). Arnaud started his career as Options Trader and then Sale with Patrice Wargny SA (1988-1989). Arnaud is a graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion and also of the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF). Outside of work, Arnaud enjoys motorcycle, wine and pastry, and also history.

Stephane Soussan

Stephane Soussan is a portfolio manager specialising in natural resources at Amundi having joined the company in 2008. Stephane graduated from ESSEC. Based in Paris, he runs the SG Actions Energie Fund which invests primarily in shares of international companies related to the energy sector.

Objective

This Sub-Fund seeks long-term capital growth through investment of at least 67% of its total assets in shares of companies specialised in the gold mining industry and shares of gold mines, of countries such as Australia, North America and South Africa, and in other precious metals or mineral stocks (such as silver and platinum group metals), provided that such investment does not exceed one-third of the Net Assets of the Sub-Fund.
