The Private Office buys London advice firm

Leeds-based The Private Office (TPO) has acquired the wealth management division of SRLV Accountants, pushing its funds under management to £1.2 billion.

The deal, for an undisclosed figure, creates a business with an annual turnover of approximately £12 million.

The purchase is the second of a London-based firm by TPO, after PQR was acquired in 2016 in a cash and equity deal.

SRLV Financial has six staff, including two qualified financial advisers, and provides advice to SRLV Accountants’ personal and corporate clients.

TPO was founded in Leeds in 2008 and launched its London base in 2013. Chief executive Stuart Phillips (pictured) said: ‘The SRLV Financial deal strengthens our London presence and creates a platform for further growth.

“Our immediate plan is to grow TPO organically through the quality of our wealth management advice, but we are open to discussions with independent firms if there is a good fit, professionally and culturally.”
