SG Wealth achieves chartered status

East Anglia-based IFA SG Wealth Management has been awarded chartered financial planner status. The firm achieved the Chartered Insurance Institute accreditation this month after completing a management buyout last year.

Managing director Stephen Girling (pictured) said: ‘Our chartered title means a lot to us and there are very few other financial planning firms who carry this in our region.

‘It was not easily achieved, and it takes commitment and continuous investment in customer service to maintain. We intend to maintain our excellent standards, guarantee our overall commitment to our clients and continue to demonstrate the professionalism for which we are renowned.’

SG Wealth Management, which has £230 million in funds under advice and 40 staff, was a New Model Adviser® cover star firm in 2018. The firm also recently hired a new IT manager Jason Dorsett to lead the firm’s new e-portal for its clients to access information on any device.
