Podcast: 'opponents of crypto regulation won't be here in five years'

On this week's podcast we talk to SteelEye chief executive Matt Smith about the future of regulatory technology  - or 'regtech' for those who like an abbreviation.

We hear why regulation is responsible for driving innovation, and in certain scenarios - cryptocurrencies for one - we need a lot more of it.

'So if you’re at an event and you’re hearing anybody who’s offering crypto services or trying to build a crypto business being against regulation, mark my words in five years at the latest they won’t be here,' he told us.

'You cannot continue to have a trading environment that is as unmanaged as it is as a whole as the crypto world is right now and think it’s going to be sustainable.'
