Paradigm Norton head of business development Martin Ruskin will lead the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) forum committee for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
He will take over from Baigrie Davies director Ian Howe, who has stepped down as chairman of the committee after just over a year in the role. He was initially meant to serve three years in
The IFP committee continues some of the work of the professional body that merged with the CISI in 2015. It organises meetings for financial planners to discuss best practice, and represents financial planning to the CISI.
Ruskin said it was 'a very exciting time' for financial planning.
'I am honoured to take on the role of chairing the CISI IFP Forum, as it continues to assist its members to help shape the profession for the benefit of UK consumers.'
