Income star Gosden to exit Artemis

Citywire A-rated Adrian Gosden (pictured), one of the co-managers of the £6 billion Artemis Income fund, is leaving the firm after 13 years.

The fund and other mandates will be managed by the Artemis Income team led by Citywire AA-rated Adrian Frost.

Artemis senior partner Mark Murray said: 'In his time with us, Adrian has made a considerable contribution to Artemis. He will leave with our thanks and very best wishes.'

Over five years to the end of May, Gosden has returned 50.12% within UK Equity Income sector while the Citywire sector average manager was up 51.14%.

Prior to Artemis, Gosden managed a number of accounts for institutional clients and co-managed the retail SocGen UK Income fund with Nicola Horlick.
