Fidelity's Everill leaves FundsNetwork role

Fidelity’s Jon Everill (pictures) has left his role as head of advisory services at platform FundsNetwork to take up a position in Japan.

Everill (pictured) joined FundsNetwork in June 2013, and left in September last year.

He continues to work at Fidelity but started as head of personal investing Asia Pacific in September last year.

Fidelity is currently looking for a replacement for Everill.

Everill was president of the Personal Finance Society between 2011 and 2012.

He also founded the IFA Destini in 2002, which later merged with Thinc and was sold to AXA in 2006.

A spokesman for Fidelity confirmed Everill had moved away from the UK platform.

‘We can confirm that Jon has moved on to another role within Fidelity International as Head of Personal Investing, Asia Pacific. He has done a fantastic job for FundsNetwork and we wish him every success in his new role,' he said.

Pat Shea,  head of FundsNetwork, said Everill was important in helping the platform grow over the last three years.

‘With 27 years’ experience, Jon has played an instrumental role in building FundsNetwork and it has been my pleasure to work with him. This is a very positive move for Jon and is reflective of his achievements to date. I wish him every success in his new role,’ said Shea.
