Aegon’s chief digital officer Richard Denning has resigned from the platform provider.
Denning, who joined Aegon in 2013, became chief transformation and digital officer in June 2018 and was responsible for customer services, IT and platform development.
An Aegon spokeswoman said: ‘Richard Denning is leaving Aegon, having tendered his resignation, deciding that now is the time for him to have a break from corporate life.
‘Richard has been key to our transformation journey since 2010 and we are very grateful for the key role he has played in helping us build the largest platform in the market.’
Aegon moved its Cofunds platform to new technology in May this year, which has raised issues for advisers. Last week the company announced compensation payments would begin for clients who had been affected by problems arising from the move.
