Acumen plans advice event for Lancashire business owners

Acumen Financial Partnership will host a financial advice seminar for private investors and business owners in north Lancashire.

The event follows a successful start to the year for Burscough-based Acumen, with managing director Angela Maher (pictured) featured in The Times Top Rated Financial Advisers for the third year running. The firm took over Wyre Investment and Financial Management in November 2018.

Maher said: ‘Since our expansion further into Lancashire, we have been keen to host an event to welcome our new clients and offer clear, straightforward financial advice to benefit a range of investors. We hope to bring more events to north Lancashire in the future.’

Speakers at the event include Brewin Dolphin head of fund research Ben Gutteridge; Fortress Group marketing director Andy Lee; and Acumen senior adviser Liz Warren. They will discuss personal investments, inheritance tax and retirement planning.

The free-to-attend afternoon seminar takes place at 2.30pm on 30 April, at Garstang Golf Club.
