Christian Scherrer was born in Scherzingen in the late 1970s. He studied economics and finance at the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He joined LGT Capital Management in 2003 where he is a fund manager of multi asset class and equity funds. Since January 2012, he has been the lead manager of the LGT Sustainable Equity Fund Global. Outside of fund management Christian enjoys music, the theatre and a number of sports including football, badminton and hiking.

Objective

The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to generate consistent long-term capital appreciation. Fund will seek to achieve the investment objective by investing primarily in broad range of equity securities and instruments (shares, participatory certificates and profit-sharing certificates) listed or traded on a Recognised Exchange. The Sub-Fund may invest up to 10% of its assets (excluding cash and Cash Equivalents) in fixed income securities worldwide. Such fixed income securities can be denominated in any currency.
