Surprise, surprise! Asia earnings have really improved

In the past four or five years investors in Asia have struggled against a strong dollar, poor commodities markets and a ‘soft’ period for corporate profits, says Ayaz Ebrahim, co-manager of the JPMorgan Asian (JAI) investment trust.

However, in the past eight months that has started to change with analysts upgrading their earnings forecasts, Ebrahim explains in this video.

The performance of JPMorgan Asian has also improved as Ebrahim and co-manager Richard Titherington have shown more conviction in their stock picking and as the trust has hiked its dividend payments, making the shares more attractive to income investors.
