Uncertainty over the economic impact of withdrawing from the European Union, the UK’s biggest trading partner, has left London-listed multinationals trading well below their global peers, while domestic-facing companies stand at relative lows not seen since the 2008 financial crisis. With mergers and acquisitions on the increase, is it time for investors to join in and buy?

Citywire Investment Trust Awards 2017

London November 2018

In November 2017 Citywire held its first Investment Trust Awards in London.

A total of 18 awards were up for grabs at an event that demonstrated the depth and breadth of the investment talent in the £153 billion investment trust sector.

Performance Awards

17 ‘Performance Awards’ have been rewarded to the investment trusts and investment companies with the best underlying, risk-adjusted returns against their benchmarks over three years.

Best Board Award

A ‘Best Board Award’ went to the board of directors we believed had done the most to protect and improve shareholder returns in their investment trust.
